Jay Cook works as a Behavioral Health Associate for LCCS. She was born and raised in Haines and has lived here her entire life (except for a brief move to Juneau where she held a job with the Alaska State Legislature for 5 years). Jay believes that family is the most important part of a person's life and for that reason she returned to Haines so her daughter would be surrounded with the same love and support she had growing up. Jay appreciates how living in Haines gives her the opportunity to be a big part of so many people's lives. She enjoys helping others and her heart is in working with children and seeing them grow. Her hobbies are hunting, fishing, beachcombing, and most important, spending time with her family.
