LCCS Clinicians often write articles that appear in local newspapers and most often deal with a specific mental health topic. If you have a topic you would like to see an article written about, please contact us at info@lccsak.org.

Client Art
Lynn Canal Counseling provides two on-going therapeutic groups to encourage self expression, offer social and emotional support, and increase everyday skills. All creative writing displayed here was created by clients. Both the art group and the writing group are guided by a case manager and often co-facilitated by local artists and writers. Past co-facilitators have included Heather Lende, author of “If You Lived Here, I’d Know Your Name”; Rebecca Heaton, Native beading; and Tim Shields, biologist, and artist.
